Restaurant portions. . . make them smaller please, or at least offer it as an option. Yes, sometimes I take the leftovers home and have a great lunch the next day. . . but there are plenty of times I want to go somewhere after the restaurant. . . Why should I have [...] . . . the small towns that put stop signs up on major roads where the lights were out after our wind storms. . . . those of you who had prepared to shelter at home or in your car . . . those of you who helped your neighbors . . . those who did not race [...] . . . to do one thing, however small that is plain silly, out of character, a bit eccentric, out of the ordinary, backward, upside down, even if you just put on your shirt inside out and catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. Now, smile. . . Come on, bigger. Now, do it [...] Gifts make most of us smile, right? Used to, anyway. You listened to hints dropped or just gave it the old college try and bought something you thought the recipient would love. Sometimes, many times, you guessed right.
