Now, y’all know I usually take my own photos, but I have been suffering withdrawal from my belly dancing (15 years about of both the [...] I haven’t posted any brilliant or not so brilliant thoughts because I have been reading instructions, (and emailing for help) updating memberships in U-tube and Gabcast, reading directions, lurking (oops) and delurking and sending my brother info on contests trying to push him over into entering. But, I’ve also been trying to read my poems without [...] Hard work for hours in fresh air brings exhaustion that somehow feels right, reclining in front of the TV for hours on end brings a tiredness that never goes away. Two generations: one grateful that she is observing empty nesters having fun together, knowing once her kids are grown, she can live some of her dreams; the other empty nesters laughing over her stories of children being children, joyous that some kids are still loving life. This one is my favorite because I love the terraced steps we made on our side yard (coming from flat Florida made it special to live on a hill).
