There will be days you will fall behind and not meet deadlines no matter how hard you try to do otherwise. We didn’t have to leave all of Florida behind… just the crummy old heat, we found some of what we loved in Florida here, too For more Wordless Wednesday, click here! Why not play along with us? I had to cut Dale Ellen from the picture, as I have lost track of her and have no permission to post her picture — and she wore her beer cans quite well, too! We were quite the about the last I ever sewed, lol. And no, we did not drink the beer… [...] If you think about a problem hard enough, long enough, often enough, openly enough, with the intention of solving it, you may just find a solution — though it may not be the solution you want it to be. Organizing and cleaning a garage, finding things you had lost, finding things to give to someone who has less, ridding the space of clutter and dirt gives us a feeling of accomplishment and allows the car to be returned to its intended home, away from hail, vandals, and sap from trees. Looks like an average ice cream cone perhaps? Trust me, it is not. Leon has very large hands and he LOVES ice cream and this was a lot even for him. Found this wonderful ice cream at a road side vegetable market – and yes, that is a suede jacket he is wearing — [...] Sad moods will sometimes overwhelm you, but with some effort you can usually chase them away — after they have served their purpose — and cleansed your soul. Observed at a local park: Band playing, hamburgers barbecuing, families fishing, families swimming, dogs playing, children climbing and swinging, people walking together or jogging alone, teenagers skateboarding — all beneath a gorgeous blue sky with white clouds, a perfect day for all. |
