A cloudy afternoon on an otherwise hot day, a cool breeze rustling leaves, a bird in the distance just being itself.

A trip across a border for the first time combined with friends, a toddler to laugh with, awesome food, perfect weather, places to stroll and talk, and my favorite person, my husband, that is a really nice thought and was real.  That the hotel was clean and quiet made it all perfect.

It is a wonderful thing to see the excitement in a neighbor’s face while she is  describing her vacation with her children… a time of peace, no worries, experiencing nature.

Organizing and cleaning a garage, finding things you had lost, finding things to give to someone who has less, ridding the space of clutter and dirt gives us a feeling of accomplishment and allows the car to be returned to its intended home, away from hail, vandals, and sap from trees.

Observed at a local park:  Band playing, hamburgers barbecuing, families fishing, families swimming, dogs playing, children climbing and swinging, people walking together or jogging alone, teenagers skateboarding — all beneath a gorgeous blue sky with white clouds, a perfect day for all.

Musicians around the world write and play music that evokes emotions of all kinds.

Cloudy skies and laughing children, adults hovering in the background, but letting them just be kids for the moment.
